There's been someone on here using it and taking pics etc, can't for the life of me remember which part of the forum though, but he sings its praises.
If you search on Google for "lanoguard test/review" it might pop you back on here cos the LZ search engine is useless!

I did mine with very old Waxoyl. It was solid, I had to mix it with white spirit to make it useable! but other makers make good stuff.
i think the thread was something like "Best chassis treatment".

No end of recommendations for chassis treatments I bet! I used hammerite on my old Hilux but it was horrific, like I hadn't done it a few months later. I've made my peace with letting it rot this winter and doing it after a spell of nice weather next year so there's a cat in hell's chance the chassis will be dry inside

I use Hammerite Smooth a lot. But it is tricky stuff to put on thick enough. The rules on recoating being the tricky part.No end of recommendations for chassis treatments I bet! Pre-warming on a radiator or in hot water thins it right out an allows application for 10 minutes or so.

Yep did that as well!!
The Waxoyl was REALLY old. Stuck in a bucket of hot water for ages. I'm just tight and also it was the "good" old stuff, as apparently the new stuff isn't so good. Otherwise I'd have used summat else!

Well, the new ball joints are in! Ordered replacement bolts for the wheel hub but they didn't come in time and I'm impatient as hell so I'm tempted to just reuse the old ones.
Next job this afternoon is putting it back together, then on to track rods

Nah they don't look bad. Just a little bit crunchy, but still solid. I'll hang everything on with one bolt probably so I can run the sensor cables and check the amigos are sorted out then throw the new bolts in when they arrive.

I'd put two or three in cos the sensor to reluctor ring gap is so sensitive. The amigos, or one of them, won't go out until you've got it up to 8 mph, I believe, anyway. Maybe if you disconnected the batt, put it back on then cleared the codes with a diagnostic???

Chucked 'em all back in finger tight and I'm trying to convince myself to wait but I'm too excited to get the wheels back on and see what mi amigos are saying haha
