I can't open your link but IMO you need IGM100000
You dont need it as long as you dont want to select low range ever that's for sure
Second hand?
Breakers?
IMO you bought the wrong vehicle then ... sell it and buy a Freelander... sorry, i couldnt help myselfWell I haven't *needed* to in the 3 years I've had her. But as we're fitting a replacement chassis I figured I'd try to sort it while it's all apart. Still probably won't need it; unless low range is useful for giving someone a quick pull out of some mud?

Get the car running then stop it, put the gear lever in neutral with the engine running, push the Hi-lo lever until it goes into lo, drive off again, you are now in low range. As there is no synchro it'll take a solid push. Not gonna fit 3 kids and all our camping stuff in a freelander lol.

To put it back into Hi, do the same thing, just move the lever the other way.
You won't have diff lock, so don't worry about it!
Unless some very clever previous owner managed to fit it!
Once in Low Range, you can use HDC ... if you wish.
This, and more, is all in the/a manual.
and the M button
Next to the S button to the rear of the gear selector lever. in low range it allows you to lock the box into each gear I believe but my manual is not to hand at the mo.Yeah, I know all that. It's fiddling with HDC that's pointed me to this switch probably being faulty. I can drive in lo; but from what I've gathered the ECU changes some settings to make it work better; but obviously not right now as it doesn't know.

OKCannot picture what you're talking about at all
OK
As I never use it, I had forgotten exactly how it works.
The MODE button, to the rear of the selector lever.
In high ration you press it and S comes up on the instrument panel, for "sports" mode.
But if you shove the hi-lo lever into Low ratio, and press the mode button you get an M,.
I have dug the manual out so I'll now look thru it and quote what this does.....
"" Manual mode"
In Low range with Manual mode selected, the automatic transmission functions as a manual gearbox requiring the driver to move the selector lever manually to change gear." (It goes on about other stuff.)
Is that OK?
HAHA bloody HA!Ooooh, mine's a manual anyway so that's why I haven't got a clue what you're talking about hahaha.
Not if the hi-low switch doesnt send the signal to the ECUs for them to "know" it's in lowOnce in Low Range, you can use HDC and the M button, if you wish.
I was talking in the general sense as matey seemed to be labouring a bit. Now I know he hasn't got an auto, I realised I was being a cock so I'll shut up!Not if the hi-low switch doesnt send the signal to the ECUs for them to "know" it's in low
