Went to painters yesterday. Paint is in process panel dings are being flushed out.

here's the quarter panels. old damaged cracked at edges and torn around tailgate vinyl removed and recovered.

thanks dunkan, it was probably the easiest thing. finding the right vinyl texture I'll send you the link if you like 1m was £6.00 . pop off the spring clips on the vent grills, peel off the old vinyl lay the two panels on the vinyl sheet to get the angle and cut shape, spray the glue (farbric / carpet adhesive ) wrap it around tight pulling round the contours and working it with your thumbs, trim about 1cm around the edges lapping it over, apply more adhesive to the the flaps and you're done.

to do stuff with sticky back plastic watching Blue Peter a few years ago :D

I'll swing buy for a look see if I'm invited lol need to talk lgp convention with you I mite just have mine done in the new year but lgp garages around me are very thin on the ground and I won't be able to use the euro tunnel if its LPG. I go over to Belgium half a dozen times a year with the family.

Dave's closer to the pwople who did mine in New Malden.. Capital Autogas.

I havnt spoken to the painters yet,, been putting it off as i'll have to pick it up and it's a bit parky to be putting it back together and grazing knuckles.

I suppose i should see how it is coming along.. perhaps pop down this week for more piccies!
