Yes, and it reads correctly in Nanocom. Seems to depend a bit on the temperature. In winter they tend to settle an inch or two. In warmer weather they rise at the back ! Tried the hold button today. Started at home, hold button engaged &...

One for the whole house? that'd have to be a big mutha wouldn't it? Being a relatively modern house, handed over to us in 2008 as a new build, it does at least have circuit breakers or RCBs or whatever the technical term is, which makes it easy...

If it is grease then someone has put it in hoping to keep box lubricated. It should be oil in there. There is an O ring seal behind the output arm that is likely gone. Have LOOK at the steering output arm while someone waggles the steering...

Low oil level warning lights, ANOTHER piece of TOTALLY unnecessary electrical cr@p. They should only allow fitting alongside a good old fashioned dipstick.

Hi all, New day, new fun. Found a big blob of grease under what I assume to be the steering box this morning. I’m also fairly sure the steering has gone from heavy to heavier this afternoon. Pictures attached, if anyone can confirm and give...

Yes, SPD = that. Modern way is to install one in your fusebox for the whole house. Might be an interesting circuit to troubleshoot, if you want to send one to me. Better still, how about Big Clive on YT?

Oh yes, I sprinkled some water on them, evaporated immediately. The engine was perfectly fine so. I think the carbs evaporated more fuel that day than the engine burned. Luckily, fuel was, for us not so much for the locals, dirt cheap. Only time...

If the piston is that tight then it is corroded and will not improve. Sometimes you can put a block of wood in the caliper and press the brake to expose the piston without popping it out !! Then pull back the rubber gaiter and check / clean the...
