Hi

Need help with a rim for a Series 1, 2 used new or a loan!
Drove to Newcastle in my Defender towing a old Ifor williams trailer. Upon arrival loud sound started and 1 wheel had badly damaged wheelnuts and rim this was Thursday. Spoke to Spanner Monkeys garage and they had a rim and ordered new wheelnuts via them. Today they arrived and their rim that I bought and took to tyre garage had different offset! So hoping to continue driving is now delayed.

Does anyone have a extra steel wheel to sell or I can borrow for the return journey. Can collect

Got a spare wheel in North of Scotland thou cost much more to drive there to collect.

Thats what I thought, plenty Landy garden ornaments around.

New one is £70+ and 2 days of waiting for delivery.

Anyone nearer to Newcastle?

Sorry, I don't have one. Try G K Jacksons, just North of Morpeth. 01670 787393
Thank you AI2030 for the garage detail.

They did indeed have plenty. Bought one and took it to all garages in Morpeth, they were all busy (kwik fit uselss as wouldn't swap the tyre as it might danage it!) One garage without a name recommened Hengora in Ashington. Arrived well well after 5pm and they swapped the tyre to the new used rim. Now wheel is back on trlr and ready to continue the journey, after getting refund from rim with wierd PCD pattern. Seemed to be off by 10mm

Thanks Landyzone
