Disco 1 Making brake pipes, what supplies do I need?

I have been servicing my brakes, and need to replace a brake pipe. I'd like to bite the bullet, and make my own. But, I'm unsure what I need for a D1 (300tdi ABS).

Do I need metric or SAE? What fittings should I buy? Copper or Cunife? Any recommendations on where to buy?

Can you remove the pipes and see what fittings they have before ordering?

I may have too, was rather hoping to get supplies delivered before tackling this though.

Some progress, I now have some:

- 3/16 Cupro Nickel Tubing
- AB hand held SAE flare tool
- Brake Pipe Unions - Metric Male

So hopefully good to go, however most of my old pipe clips are breaking when removing the old pipe. I'm currently needing ones for the bulkhead, and inner wings. Are these available?

Defender ones are available, maybe they are the same?
