Hi All,
Just bought myself a 2005 Freelander as a bit of a project. The rear passenger internal door handle wasn't (isn't) working and I can see that the cable is not attached to the handle (puller). On another thread here I noticed a drawing of the various components and see that there is a right angled plastic clip thing that fits over the end of the cable and pushes (I assume) into the hole in the handle lever.
So, I assuming some of you experts out there know what I am talking about, but what I need is advice on is what the part is called and where to buy one. Any help / advice appreciated.

Welcome 👋 @tom_hills
Probably breakers yard for that part unless someone on here knows the part number, have you looked in the bottom of the door to see if it's there

I had to replace the window winder mechanism and there were quite a few broken bits of plastic, which may have been it, but definitely not intact I'm afraid. Thanks for the thoughts though.

Hi Tom,

Do you mean this part? Looks like it comes with handle or handle and cable.

You can see clip on back of this one. I think the Rimmers one is earlier. They list it for later ones just don't show photo.

This is better. From ebay !!Screenshot_20240224_195727_eBay.jpgScreenshot_20240224_195710_eBay.jpg
