Anyone done this work before? What is the cost roughly, from experience? Thank you.
And is it worth it? I am trying to think of reasons to do it, but struggling ...

Starter/alternator/all bulbs/posibly some gauges, unless you have to I cannot see why you would?

24v a127 alternaotrs are cheap enough.

Here you go:

List of parts for 12v conversion.

Alternator

Starter

Stop solenoid

Glow plugs

Glow plug relay

Wiper motor

Washer motor

Horn

Relays x 3

Wiper relay

Indicator unit / flasher relay

Fuel gauge

Temp gauge

Egr blanking kit and disconnect the egr ecu

All bulbs

Fuses need to be uprated to double amps (half the voltage double the amps is the rule!)

The headlight level motors can stay in, they just work slower.

Heater motor

About a days work to complete, the costs can be more than compensated for by the sale of good 24v components.

thats great, thanks very much, i don't think i'd be able to do all of it myself in all honesty. i will ask around for quotes. but again, can't find a reason to actually do it. it works fine as it is, i don't plan on selling her.
