ive got these new Mudflap bracket supports for my D1 and they seem to be too long. To fit them they will need to be at a different angle to the originals and another hole drilled nearer the back. Any thoughts?

can you torque up a nut and bolt on the bolt head? ...... thinking of the A frame bolts.

I have a rear n/s Lockheed brake calliper off 98 disco 1. Was going to chuck it (and the o/s one when I get it off) in the scrap pile for the tip. But was wondering if any peeps restore them and if they wanted them. Seems a waste to bung them away,though they are (both) cruddy.!! Anyone...

I got a stainless poly bush kit to fit, but one of the big washers has a countersunk in it. Does it fit .... A B C D I reckon it’s either A - up against the edge of the bar, of D - facing the washer and nut

Cleaning up the trailing arm ,is the ring on the right part of the arm , or a squashed in washer ?

carrying on from my big stripdown thread...... I need to remove the rear springs on my 300tdi to get at the chassis to weld it. is it just a case of putting stands under the jacked up body, undoing the shock, and lowering the axle on one side till there's enough clearance to pull the spring...

what make brushable seam sealer are you guys using.? I’ve been using Frost’s own but they ain’t got any. Any recommendations? or are they all the same.

peeps I’m not sure how to fit the floor side panels at the front (pointy) end. On my strip down thread, I thought they went under the spot welds and would puddle weld it back in place, but I’m having trouble getting it to fit that way. I’ve bent the tabs in and still won’t fit. So I’m wondering...
