Thanks for the reply.. I blanked it off and run it for a half hour around the town I live in. Seeks ok but I'm guessing it might go into limp mode on a longer journey. I'm no expert on these rings so thanks for the advice. I'll see how it goes over the next few days. Thanks Chris

Hi folks. I'm planning on attempting to blank of the egr on my 2011 fl2 diesel. Is there an issue with the car going into limp mode or is this something I can rectify at home? I've also read that fl2's from 2010 onwards can't be blanked? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Chris

Injector 2 knackered and injector 4 retaining bracket snapped. Changed out and running great thankfully. Onto the next job C

Some noise from the rear as well but if its the diff i will wait till it gets a bit nousiet and change for a reconditioned unit and change the mountings at the same time for less tuan 300 quid. Looks an easy job. Apart from that and an underseal we should be good for winter. C

Thanks pal. I have the hippo up and running. One damaged thingy ontop of injector 2 and the retaining bracket on injectir 4 had snapped so there was no compression in 4. Replaced and all running perfectly again. Got a mate to plug in and clear faults and no new ones appeared so its back to...

Not really to be honest. The solenoid resistance is the same on all 4 of .8 of an ohm. Haven't found data yet on wether thats correct but when i pull the power supplies individually when its running number 2 hardy changes the engine note. I will do a running leak back test later

Thanks pal. I reckon my problem is one of my injectors. I reckon i have knackered it when i stripped and cleaned it. Will find out when i fit another one in its place. Cheers C

Sounds like mines. Mines was running great before i touched it. I stripped and cleaned intake blanked the egr, cleaned the injectors, and new gliw plugs and it sound like a bag of bolts. I really wish i had left it alone as it was running great. I couldn't get it to start this mornimg either. I...

Cheers guys. New copper washers but original o rings. I pulled the injectors and 1 3 & 4 made a lot of difference to the running. 2 made a little difference but not as much as the others. Rwgards C

I may have been a little premature 8n saying its just a cam sensor as sitting here parked and idling the whole motor is shaking enough to make it difficult to type on my phone. Still hard to start with frozen sensor so thinking maybe a dodgy injector. Dunno how to check them and pointers guys?
