When i lock or unlock my disco 2 v8,the imobiliser light doesn't flash.It doesn't flash at all,does this mean the imobiliser is turned off.I'm trying to program a new key fob,i need the imobiliser to be working or i can't match the new fob.Is it possible the imobiliser is turned off.

Footman&James have stopped doing classic insurance on Discos,they just quoted me £1,700 for a 1996 v8 lpg discovery and thats with 9 years no claims bonous.What a rip off,i wonder why.

Am still baffled,discovery 3.9 v8 thermostat sealing ring.I got two different sealing rings with my new thermostat.When i took the old thermostat out,there was'nt any seal on it.Does the v8 have one on it.

Disco v8 N/S rear of cylender head earth wire,i forgot to put it back on before i torqued the head up.I cant get the bugger on now,has anyone put the earth wire somewhere else.
