Hi all. Im planning to go over to the UK on a "factfinding" mission and was thinking about bringing home a recon transfer box and r380 box. Any one have any idea of the approx weight of these?? Dont really want to go over the 800kg load limit of my wee van.

I have used paracord on one of mine but found it a bit hard so on my second attempt I used bicycle inner tube instead of the diaphragm. Far more comfy, hardwearing and free. simply cut the diaphram away and looped the inner tube around the 2 rods on the sides. But then again im a tight git .

Hi all. Looks like I need to make up a set of sill to chassis mounts. What size steel do you use for this?? Some say 80x80 others 90x90. All i have is a big chunk of 100x100 box. Is this too big?? How have others done this. Im a novice welder at best and just looking for any tips any of you...

all body/ chassis dimensions are in spec(or as much in spec as a landy can be) Will drop the front shocks and springs again on sat and do a bit more investigation, the shocks are the next port of call. .

well im beginning to question what exactly IS up at this stage cos replacement springs made no difference at all

Well next sat the whole lot is coming back out and some serious investigation is going on. Cant be doing with this

changed the 2 front springs and its still approx. 2 inches lower on the drivers side front. Next stop is front shocks. Cant think what else It can be. Bodymounts are solid so just scratching my head.
