    Are you sure its not just the CAT getting hot ( more load= more heat ) you tend get a wiff of eggy sulphur stench when you stop and the fumes waft around from the rear of the car

    Glad its sorted. I did think it might have been the tires as mine was shaking its back end like a excited puppy when I fitted a set of AT's for the winter . I refitted the standard "summer" boots and all is good ,although rotating front to back brings back the shake time for a complete new set...

    The only thing I think is wrong with stand alone DRL's on the front is you often see cars running with no lights on at all on the rear. With modern cars the dash lights up with the ignition and its easy to forget when in town to switch on your lights

    Its all a bit puzzling my other half has a Grand Vitara SWB 2.4 according to Suzuki 225/70/16 on 6.5 rim is standard fitment.

    Sorry its me just being a bit dim and a Typo error. I was looking at a 225/75/16 on a 6.5 rim with a diam of 744 mm Vrs a 235/70/16 diam of 736mm . According to the tyre/rim fitment chart I looked at the 235/70/16 diam 736mm should go on a 7" rim BUT a 235/75/16 diam 733mm would fit on a 6.5...
