Thank you! I had a Defender (110 County Station Wagon), but Mrs Mojoke only drives automatics, and a used but reliable disco would have been too much for my meagre budget at the moment... I will have another one one day!

There you are y'see, thats sort of what I was asking! Where/who actually codes them? Do they have to be done by Landrover, or is that a big and very expensive scam (I think we might surmise an answer here)? I thought, from what I've read around the net, that the dealer codes it to your car...
