Come on then, what am I listening for??? I've set it with a timing light to 6 degrees and it's burping and farting especially on the over run. If I go past 6 degrees the engine speed increases but I don't know if this will cause issues... So please can someone tell me what I'm listening for...

Does your fuel gauge work upside down or is it just mine? :oops: I'm guessing it's cos it used to be positive earth and now it's negative... When it shows empty it's full and when it's used it all it works its way too full :rolleyes:

Has anyone successfully stopped the exhaust leak from where the manifold and down pipe meet? Both are new one mine and I'm sick of fannying about with it to no avail. I'm tempted to put a gasket between them like the 300 tdi I used to have or is it just a case of slopping exhaust gum in there...

They are ****e, standard britpart drums with britpart shoes and a mixture of britpart and girling slave cylinders. I've messed about adjusting them and they are still crap. If I apply light pressure to the pedal it goes up and down and if I stomp on it then they are not much better. Can anyone...

I've got a chatter noise coming from the bellhousing area that disappears when I put pressure on the clutch pedal. Unless I'm missing something I can't see a release bearing in my parts catalogue so any ideas on the usual suspects that I can throw at it? Cheers Rob

What are peoples preferences regarding tubes? I currently have a series in need of new tyres and I'm blessed with two sets of wheels. A set of 4 of these that haven't got tyres on and I believe require tubes. And a set of these that are currently fitted It'd be nice to look original but...

Ventured out for its first run and I've noticed a couple of times that when I get out the brake lights come on of their own accord :( If I dab the brake pedal they usually go off and stay off but sometimes it takes a couple of attempts. Any ideas? Rob

I've got a 5 wire tex magna indicator that I'm trying to wire in. The indicators work ok but the tell light doesn't and I'm trying to work out what the black/red and black/white wires connect to so any info would be great. Cheers Rob D
