got parts of someone up north. will be picking them up at the end of this mounth.

its a dse (bmw). taken out all the radiators that were in the way. its closer than it looked just a mill of so. tapping it closed makes it rubb on the inside but i may be houlding it in to hard. bolts have to be 7lb,f. i'll fit it and see how it runs. thanks for all the help/ sean

no when i tap it to close the gap pump hits on inside and wont turn......may not be the proper part.

its more like 1.5cm. feels like more with the tips of my fingers. may well be inch's without a proper seal. having problems finding one over here. looks like a trip to the dealers again.

taken out the water pump on a dse (bmw) was fitted with liqud gasket sealing all over it. would like to have it back in with the proper seal's this time. was losing water before. dose it have two seals or one? got the rubber ring, is there a paper gesget too? having problems finding one. must be...

just looking at an old thead (waterpump replacment) i'm doing mine at the moment and am having problems getting a seal for it over here. ive got some paper gasget in the shed, will this work?. i'll have to bild it up in layers, paper is very thin and the gap is about 3cm. dont wont to start...
