I know exactly how you feel. I got a cheap 02 plate V8 on lpg and it seems to like to throw up an issue every week/fortnight. I got it for around £3k but refuse to spend a grand a month fixing it so it'll be a short lived love affair. Lovely car to drive but waiting for the next wallet draining...

By the sounds of it there is a 200tdi lump in it. Whether that's a genuine 90 or disco 200 I'm not sure yet. Awaiting photos of the engine and chassis. Original front axle but disco rear with brake discs. With the disco transfer box she's had 84mph out of it once. I'll post more photos as and...

She is South East so price would be more than up north as you say. 90 prices are very hard to determine esp when the Defender forum all say way over priced! I'll try to get more photos but I'm quite certain it'll be in very good condition as she's not one to drive a bag of bones !

It's in very good shape - haven't seen it in person but I know the owner wouldn't have scrimped on it. I just don't know about 90 prices as they are all over the show

Just a quick one - friend is selling her very tidy D reg 90 truck cab 114k miles, 2.5tdi recon gearbox, disco transfer box, rear air suspension, wax oiled rust free chassis, 31" general grabbers, disc brakes all round. Asking £7k for it ....is it far too overpriced?

After leaving the L322 for around 3 weeks with the MOT issue I've noticed that when I lock and unlock the car the indicators no longer flash? Car starts fine with no hesitation, also noticed that when the key goes in the ignition it is sometimes a bit awkward to turn almost as if it doesn't...

Got it back from the MOT with a pass!! That's after the last MOT station failed it about 3 weeks ago on a whole host of faults and £2500 worth of welding required. New MOT lists 4 advisorys with no mention of chassis rot. Last MOT station was either having a bad day or creating work for themselves
