well i did the hard reset! no problems, no major disasters, nothing broke mind you having said that i didnt wait 10 mins after touching + & - leads together. Go on give it a go! ;)

I'm having trouble with volume on and off on my stereo and believe this could be down to my Becker radio module as I have already changed dsp. Do you think it could be the radio unit causing issues with the voice recognition.

Hi guys just noticed that the voice recognition module on my 02 vogue is disconnected and has been since I bought it. Not a problem just reconnect it you say, except when I connect it the radio goes off completely no sound and blank display! Why the hell is this then? Anybody got any ideas...

i think it could be the phone module but i'm unsure, it is not on the boot floor its fastened above the dsp amp under the satnav drive.

i would say that if you managed 30mpg out of a discovery 4 you'd be doing extremely well and probably on a decent run not round town. You wont get much change out of £130 - £140 to fill the tank at £1.40 p/litre.

anybody in their right mind can see that yes the codes may cost £200 if thats what they really cost, but once you diagnosed a few issues even at mates rates you gained back your £200 and then its profit all day long!! dont hear many people grumble once they're into profit.
