I have a range rover seat fitted which leaves me with plenty of leg room. I'm only six foot but have you thought of just moving up a little instead of just back.

Sooooooo,any update on this as I'm having the same noise. I suspect the ujs and I'm going to run with them front or back to find out which is the offender.

I made my own partition for my 90 to keep petrol fumes out of the cab from my power tools. It works a treat. Made from mdf,covered in acoustic cloth with speakers fitted in it. I've even got a Perspex window in the centre for the rear view mirror.

I fitted the air box in a different spot. The picture quality aint the best but you can see what I've done.

I'd also like to hear from anyone that can source a bottom water pipe for said conversion. I bought mine already fitted with the 200tdi and the pipe thats on it just now looks like frankenstein made it.

A quick thing to check would be the glowplug ends.

Mine was doing the same,turned out to be the droplink.

I made the "link bar" from a coat hanger,works a treat.

I went for the YRM aluminium replacement as I did'nt fancy removing the seat box! It fitted nicely and cost £100 with delivery and rivets.

Thanks James I think you just saved me an expensive trip to the garage. I changed the oil last night and this morning no reverse gear:mad: . On your advise lifted centre seat box cover and the reverse switch was loose. wound it out a bit and tightened the retaining nut. Obviously worked its way...

Some great replies there, I don't like it myself. Il stick to my 89 90 with the 200 disco engine and Richards galv chassis.
