    Faulty flexy is a possibility, I have never had one fail in that way though. The odd seized caliper piston yes,but only on rear brakes.

    Freelander 1 Help - Security Wheel Nut Key Just Snapped On Me.

    You can get one off Ebay or a Dealer. There is a number stamped on the top which has to match the one purchased. A dab of mig weld on the damaged one may get you by if needed quicker.

    In my opinion a Freelander in 2 wheel drive is not worth owning (like a watch with one hand) An estate car would be a better option. As a 4 wheel drive they are a very capable and versatile vehicle.
