hi, as far as i am aware it uses the horn as a sounder, same as my freelander , not that i use it , i have had a Cat1 installed. Hope this helps till someone tells you other wise.... Michael

i used faracla compound on my bm, thats red and had loads on the bonnet too , applied to my buffer , came out works really well. Hope this helps Mick

Urban myth mate............ i not a clue how this myth started? the dealers will know the code if you call them with all your details and the vin number. may cost a few quid but better than wrecking a half decent radio. Mick

you need a irwin socket , has a reverse thread teeth like inside the socket, slip it onto the nut and of it comes... i brought a set for around £30.00 to do my bushes with , someone rounded them off , this set whipped them of in minutes hope this helps Mick

Hia , i would get a disco or defender..... i have not been to bad with mine, 1800 petrol , had the head done , ird done , diff done , window regulators all 3 now done.......there not a bad motor if you have a huge wallet and understanding misses, i am looking to swap soon . disco is on the books...
