seeing as i have sold my disco, a t reg series 11,i am selling my hawkeye, i bought it to reset my three amigos and it worked and did loads of other stuff. anyway its up for sale at £200 or nearest offer plus postage or you can collect. located in doncaster . ring or text me on 07772069915...

plugged into my new , yes you heard it right, my new hawkeye electrickery machine and turned of my three amigos , all by myself , arent i clever :)

yeah , ive replaced the front hubs , checked the rear hubs , replaced the shuttle valve , even tried the bypass trick shown somewhere on here , if i can just reset the lights after trying things i can chase the problem down , at the moment i have to take it a good way to my local independant to...

hawkeye wanted , for a disco 2 v8, or nanocam, just want to turn off the three amigos every now and then , instead of running up to my nearest dealer ring or text on 07772069915, just dont want to pay the 298 quids for a new one

so doing option B is the way forward? i have a spare shuttle valve so will try it with this one and pop it in . fingers crossed

mine has the three barstewds , changed front o/s hub , cleared faults great, 2 days later lights come back on , boo, i had the codes read , showing shuttle valves , changed them , cleared faults great , woohoo no lights , 2 days later boohoo lights back on. will have codes read again ...

just like to point out that i sell mac tools and our rachets have a lifetime warranty, as do facom and britool, i change them no problem on my patch , if you want fine teeth go for a facom , 72 teeth and very fine , if you want stronger go for mac , heavier and stronger

dont think it is now if it ever was , rachets are 72 fine tooth , great for day to day ,but big stuff i prefer the mac 1/2 inch , feels much stronger

being a mac tools franchisee i guess , just mac , altho as we do facom as well i use there rachets as they are a bit finer

i have the dreaded three amigos , on all the time , so searching round i found play in the front offside whell bearing , quite a lot so i got a new hub with abs and changed it today , oh joy , everything went well , put it all back together and went out for a run , it has deff made the steering...

just changed the front o/s hub on my disco 2, there was a lot of play in the old one so i thought that was the cause of the three amigos , it was quite easy to do with a big breaker bar and 13 stone of idiot on the thick end to take the hub nut off is was straight forward ,oh how happy i was...

broughs is the yard where the ecm car transporters park , i park my van in there on a night and weekend, use to park my lorries in there when i was in haulage , opposite the bus yard will watch for the freelander :cool2:

only just noticed your in skellow , me too:eek: will watch wth interest any lr going the other way , dom what have you got ? im in a blue/green disco 2 v8 park it in broughs during the day when im out at work

ive just found this site after bit of a search , just got myself a disco and would be up for a meet somewhere , like others, its my daily so cant afford to bend it but not a polisher so mud trees and bushes all fine !!:D

just a quick hi from doncaster, just got myself a 99 disco 11 with a lovely burbling v8 :D hopefully will get out with it on a few green laning trips if there are any going on over winter let me know
