Hi found a cracking bit of kit on ebay for £10 :eek: A low coolant level alarm with loud buzzer and warning led!!! Could be used in the expansion tank or top hose to radiator to prevent overheating due to coolant loss!! Looks like a winner...

Well after the 300tdi engine change and all the work that took - on my own......... today i found a load of oil in my coolant expansion tank :mad: checked the dipstick and the oil level is half way up the dipstick :eek: So it looks like my head gasket has just gone :mad: Water and oil...

Hi since i've changed the engine in the 90 i've had a squeaking noise coming from the front of the engine - so i changed the tensioner bearing.............. still squeaking :( Today i removed the viscous fan and the squeaking is still there but not as loud................ Looking at the belt...

Had a phonecall at 12:30 from my stepson's mate - he'd managed to get himself well stuck in his 1974 series..................... so took a drive over in the 90 and winched him out - didn't take long at all. Think he was really glad i showed up to help him as he'd been there for a while already :D

Hi i've searched for some tips for removing the tensioner bearing circlip and found 100's of threads about the penny trick but none about how to get the circlip out! Anyone know how to do it??? Got a new bearing ready to fit - can't get the bloody circlip out!!
