    Cheap at the moment.

Just fitted a set of Cooper STT tyres to our 110. They seem to be reasonably priced at the moment from various places online. I have to say fair play to Paddock's their service was excellent. I've never had Cooper tyres before but initial impressions are good. They seem to be well behaved on the...

    Incredibly P****d of with Craddocks

Ordered parts last Monday morning. A set of door hinges etc, and a number of windscreen wiper parts wheelboxes etc. They didn't bother to send the order out until Thursday. It arrived on Friday while I was out working so I didn't get to open the box until the evening. Well they've ticked the...

    Another 12 months!

There's a certain satisfaction to be had when your 22 year old Land Rover, which is used every day as a workhorse and isn't a pampered pet, passes it's MOT with the minimum of hassle. A couple of little welds, a new light switch and off we go for another year.

    Pros and Cons

Pros. I'm self employed, and my work involves me driving about in my Defender a lot of the time. Mostly country lanes and fields with the odd trip further afield. Not usually in too much of a hurry and I live in a beautiful part of the world. Cons. My work involves me driving around in my...

    200tdi and 300tdi Alternators?

Anyone know if a 200tdi alternator with a v belt pulley will do for a 300tdi with serpentine belt if the pulley is swapped over, and indeed if the pulleys are interchangeable>

    2.5 td into a 109.

Well after some dithering and with the help of a broken cambelt on the old sherpa lump that it came with, I decided to stick the 19j out of my old 110 into my 109. Not a difficult conversion but enough messy little fiddly bits to make me wish I hadn't started a few times. Anyhow drove it for the...

    2.5td 19J lump into a series 3 109?????

Right I've got a series 3 109 with a rather sad old 2286 diesel in it. I've also got a 2.5td which I took out of my 110 and is not in bad nick. Anyone stuck a td into a 109? Will I have problems with the exhaust downpipe like I might with a 200tdi? Any other pain in the arse issues to deal with...

    Series Landy Wanted!

My mate has asked me to have a look for a series landy for him. Age not too important, engine type not to fussy but would prefer a diesel. Prefer an 88 but will consider a 109. Would like a few months MOT so he can get a feel for it before doing it up. Budget under a grand. Ideally will be...

    Seat Box??

Is a series 3 seatbox of similar dimensions to a defender one? I need a defender one but I've got a series one here that's not to bad. Can't compare the two as I chucked the defender one out and can't test fit as the 110 is stripped to the chassis.
