Just wanted to let people know it was indeed the module. No one i spoke too had ever seen a module not wake up intermittently. All fixed :)

I have come to the conclusion it must be a module fault. I will keep you updated after i replace it.

Its not that kind of fault, the handbrake works perfectly as long as the yellow light isnt on. There is no noise or anything. Its definitely electrical

Right time for an update. Had a look today and still haven't resolved the fault. I did find however: 1. If i turn the ignition on and wait for the dash lights to go out I will find than the yellow P light stays illuminated (indicates the fault im having). If i turn the ignition off and on again...

Also is the splice between the rear plug connectors and the module? cheers

Hi the battery is brand new (was my first thought). The fault doesnt arise from cranking. If i go out to the car and turn on the ignition only without cranking the fault is already there. I have to start the car and switch it back off for the problem to go away

Docklow 4x4 in Docklow (between Leominster and Bromyard) Has every spare needed for discovery 1 2 and defender. Has full workshop and knows tons about the older series as well and the l322 Rob or Simon 01568760248

I finally fixed the issue :) There is permanent live that runs to the steering angle sensor from the fuse box (glovebox) the wire had a break in it. The same wire powers the clock as well so thats working as well now. Thankyou for all your help

Connection 12 is a red wire but it is not a 12v live it is an abs sensor wire. I replaced the entire switch panel as mine wasn't repairable. I think im going to get it over my friends and borrow his autologic. I will keep you updated :)

Right removed the glove box (someone has defiantly been in here before, possibly to fit a new cd changer). There were no signs of water ingress anywhere. I removed the suspension ecu and again there was no signs of water or corrosion. Checked all fuses and they are all good. Checked terminals...
