    TD4 going tomorrow

Brought the new one from a local Honda dealer. Managed to haggle a bit and think the salesman got a bit of a kicking for giving me more than his boss wanted. The td4 had done 103000 miles so only just run in, however I got the normal "oh it's done more than the average mileage and over 100k...

Well, after some 4 years owning a 06 TD4 freestyle auto its going tomorrow in px for a 61 freelander 2 SD4 HSE auto. Whilst the td4 has at times cost me money overall its been a great car and survived several northern Scotland winters without as much as a slip. Hers to hoping the new one...

    Thinking of changing 06 FL1 TD4 for 59 FL2 TD4

Cheers guys, I took it for a quick spin earlier and it seem very refined. Going back on Saturday with my FL1 as didn't have that today, guess it will all boil down to how much they are prepared to offer me for mine !!

    Thinking of changing 06 FL1 TD4 for 59 FL2 TD4

Hi guys, I currently have a 06 FL1 Freestyle TD4 auto and am thinking of changing for a 59 FL2 GS TD4 auto from a Honda main dealer. The FL2 has done 47,000 and they are asking £14,595. I haven't driven it yet (hopefully will be over weekend) but wondered what people thought about FL2's and...

    TD4 96000 mile service

Thanks all, I'll ring David McLeod and see how much he will charge. Ref the belts, unfortunely I don't know if they were changed at 60,000 miles so guess I will have to bite the bullet and get them done, but agree I need to look at doing my own servicing. I've got a Haynes manual but thats as...

New to the forum, new to Land Rover

Also fairly new to freelanders having had an 2006 TD4 since March last year. But agree with Craig, service it regaularly and get all the fluids changed. also check the vcu (see posts on this forum for details). Apart from that I live in rural northern Scotland and it did everything I asked of...

Do you regret buying a Freelander?

No regrets, love my 2006 TD4 freestyle. Starts first time every time and got me everywhere I needed to go last winter in the north of Scotland. Found a local garage thanks to another forum member that gave it a full service and once over with clean bill of health. Best car I've had.

Had the freelander serviced at Martin J McAndies garage in Lossiemouth yesterday. Very good service and advice and cost under £190.00 for a full service including all fluids changed.

    Greetings from Elgin

Hi EeEk, I want someone who knows what they are doing and will do the "extra bits" that are needed on a 4 x 4 in addition to a car. Do you work at Macrae and Dick in Elgin or Inverness? Cheers
