I've had a 06 TD4 auto for about 18 months and apart from servicing, changing fluids and checking VCU regularly haven't had any problems and love it !! :)

I had the same problem on my 06 TD4 so had it re-gassed last month and now works a treat.

No regrets, love my 2006 TD4 freestyle. Starts first time every time and got me everywhere I needed to go last winter in the north of Scotland. Found a local garage thanks to another forum member that gave it a full service and once over with clean bill of health. Best car I've had.

Had the freelander serviced at Martin J McAndies garage in Lossiemouth yesterday. Very good service and advice and cost under £190.00 for a full service including all fluids changed.
