Hello all , not a regular on this part of the forum , usually on disco section . However , my wifes TD4 has a gearbox issue . I know what it is , just dont know how to cure it . NO reverse after garage changed the auto box oil . Help , ASAP , cos shes knicked my disco !!

Simple question , Is the rear floor in my disco 1 , 300 tdi , part of the MOT test . IE is it structural , can it be replaced with ply for example ?

Evening all , Don't laugh , but just fitted Britfart timing belt kit , all ok except , what is the allen key bolt for . Read all the instruction's more than twice , no mention of it , puzzled !?? :confused::confused:

Needed ASAP , the complete mech for an R380 gearbox . Diff lock/high,low lever and the assembly that bolts to top of gearbox on a disco 1 .I am in northwales , will pay carridge and costs , will even consider complete gearbox just to get this part .PM me PLEASE .

Is it possible to change the high / low linkage from lever to transfer box , without removing the gearbox , seems very tight space wise .

Evening all Would any one know if or where I can get the upper inner wheel arch panels from . We all know the one , it's near the seat belt mount and is a common MOT failure point on a four door , seam to remember classic rangies suffer from a similar problem . Thanks

300 tdi disco transfer box needed . I'm located in north Wales , will,travel if need be , would rather use a courier as I only have the disco , and really dont think it will go to much further ! PM me if poss . thanks

:crutch:just been out in disco, banging its brains out every time auto box changes gear .!! how much play / rotation should there be on the front prop ? mine moves nearly 1/4 of a turn and front diff is making a clunk / bang when I rotate it by hand . transfer box or diff going AWOL ???

having found out that the cat is U/S on my 300tdi , thinking of replacing it with non cat unit . I have been told that down pipe off a defender fits . Does any body know either the part number or which defender i need a down pipe from ???? thanks all .
