Hi all ive done 312 mile and its on the last white knotch on the fuel gauge, i think thats fab my freelander is a 1.8 2001my. At the moment she is running like a dream has any one else had this sort of mileage out of there 1.8 freelander?

Thanks every one the tow bar i made i copyed off my mates freelander but made heavier though im a welder by trade so the welds and structure will pull a tank i hope and cheap to make also.

Yeah same here there is a place near me which have got some of these bolts but they only stock one length.

Hi all just made a tow bar for my 2001 freelander ive got the bolts sorted for the chassis but what size and length are the ones in the rear x member? i know that they are an odd bolt size your help needed thanks

A clutch kit from land rover in chester is 100 pound which i find to be spot on for a genuine.

its dead easy done mine 6 months ago takes about 30-40 take off and to fit new one

its not that hard to take off only 6 bolts 5 min's

A genine one from landrover are only a tenner.

if you shop around i had mine part of the kit

All i do is service it regular and shove cab cleaner do the air filter to clean the injectors and use good fuel shell.

Hi all, Just fuelled my 1.8 freelander back up and i done 125 miles on £20 is that good? mainly by pass and A roads keeping it around the 50 mark on the by pass.

Hi i use dash dandy from my works for the bumbers etc as it is silicone based its ace easy to put on and wipe off and looks the dogs .......

It can be a number of problems one is change the brake fluid as the fluid in time clogs up the valve in the ABS pump. or you may find it could be a loose wire as mine only came on when going over pumps or a pot hole in the road. look on Ebay for the senser i bought mine for £159 all genuine to.

The problem is the clutch and slave cylinder goes faulty ive changed mine for 60 quid off ebay only took 30 mins to changed and its like driving a different car now ive done it.

just changed it on mine the complete lot have a look on ebay i bought a genuine one for 66 pounds and only took 30 mins to fit

That was the fault with mine hard to get it in to first and second and grinds in reverse changed the master cylinder and slave fantastic now its like driving a different motor

i ve just bought the complete lot from ebay £66 all in, the gear box is sweet as a nut now and only took 40 mins to take the old one off and fit the new one .
