    well started today by removing the passenger side rear quarter, lo and behold huge holes everywhere! so started off by patching those to start with. Then removed most of the rotten x member, suprisingly the door side is very solid? wheras the other side is as rotten as a pear.... so tomorrow...

    Sorry being a bit thick here, not sure what you mean? I need to get at the bit under the rear panel that covers the e post to do a small repair. As that's Ali I'm not sur I could cut it back and then weld it back up.

    hmm all undone and cant slide the little barsteward out for love nor money!!! any more tips. took the plugs out and they are all scorched so think thats the problem. just cant get it off

    checked them, they are corroded and melted but they still work although they will be changed shortly. Im pretty sure its the stalk just not sure how to get it off!
