Depends solely on what level of comfort you want! TD5 discos are comfy, warm and great on or off road. Defenders have a kind of "raw" appeal...I love em but they are not for everyone. Why dont you test drive both and see which you like best?

What you need is a co-phasing harness and then you can utilise both antennas with added performance benefits. If you select antennas that have swr adjustment then you can make sure you get a nice swr reading. Couple of chrome mini springers would probably look quite cool...and wont snap on the...
