Hello all, I am currently running my swb 1971 series 2a on 1ton wheels, I love them, look the business in my opinion, anyway I've got 235/85/16's on the rims with no dramas, I was wondering would I get a wider tyre on, like a 265 for instance, thanks

hi all, havnt been on here in some time, anyway, lastyear i changed the gearbox in the 1971 series 2a landy, when taking the old one out i broke the clutch pipe from gearbox up to flexi,:mad: havnt looked at her since but now is the time to put her right and back on the road,:clap2: anyone know...

hey all, i've developed a whine with my landy, 1971 2a, 2 1/4 diesel, it startsat about 20mph and is there up to my top speed of 40-45mph, it stops when the clutch is in, any idea what i'm up against? thanks

hi all, read in a local paper (the post) that a few local people are trying to organise a local landrover club, thought i'd spread the word, i'll be there, think its a dam good idea as there is plenty of fun to be had in the area and definately room for a club!! come along!! :) almost forgot...

i'm in the same boat mate, mine sounds like a spitfire swooping through the air!!! and on up hills its louder!! seems to start at 20-25mph and drifts out at high 30's, but as i aint got overdrive i dont push mine to far above 40, if i dip clutch however the noise vanishes, thats what put me on...

not when your tank is full though?! ;)
