M8 of mine will be replacing the bushes but not sure what they are called. They are above and forward of the rear diff, connected to two rods running the same direction as the rear axle. They support the diff. Any help in identifying them would assist as he doesn't know what to ask for. Cheers...

Hopefully someone will be able to help. A friend has a Freelander 1 and changed the battery. It now turns over but wont start and there is a clicking noise from the ECU. Its a 2litre diesel. Any ideas? It started fine before changing the battery.:confused:

Mates clutch pedal seems to have a lot of play and is sitting higher than the brake pedal. Is there a reason for this? The clutch works fine though. Any advice would be appreciated.:confused: Freelander 1 TD4.

Okay, possibly not wrong but when you restored all or part of your Landy, looking back, is there owt you would have done differently. For instance, I am painting my S3 chassis with red primer and tractol paint. This may prove a folly but I wont know for a year or so after the rebuild. :)

Sorry to bore you chaps but reading between the lines, I have 3 options in my Ser3 rebuild. I can return it to its original back with windows, fit a back without windows or turn it into a cab and open back. I think my choice will have an impact on the insurance premium, is this so? :confused:
