Bspp means the threads are parallel and bspt means they are tapered. Just getting more confused the more I search!

I recommend your own garage or driveway. Just cover it in a big sheet and loads of cardboard first. You can get all the kit you need to do a proper job every year for the cost of a garage doing it.

Which bit is from 1980? Looks like a 300tdi, not 2.5td. Surely if its his he would know about it. Why has it only got mot data from 2006?

Ahh I think a few of us misread that. You said you'd put 2 batteries in since April, and I read it as in April, you put in 2 batteries at the same time. So a dual battery system. Maybe someone will give some better advice now, and glad it wasn't just me who read it wrong.

How are your batteries connected up?
