Ashcrofts fitted my Auto box, oil cooler and new pipes, total cost £1000 fitted. At that frice they also fitted a V8 TC as well so now the TC locks about 2200rpm.

No, checked that, all wheels were off her yesterday and swapped around, garage put the torque wrench on them all and now I have just ran out to check them.

Thanks for the info, it was worth a try but yet again I've run into a dead end. Cant feel any play in the linkage, ran several tests but no play can be found.

Checked the Wheel bearing the best we can, but can't find any play. It feels like the prop shaft at the front but we have removed it and can't find anything up with it.

Ive pressure washed the underside of my 2003 Disco, heated up a gallon of waxoyl and sprayed it under the back end. Will try and do the rest of it next weekend.

If it was me, I would undo the drain plug, be VERY careful that you don't let it all drain out, just a little about .5lt Make sure you have a big container to catch the oil you let out. Crack the drain plug open with a spanner and then use your fingers to unscrew the drain plug very slowly...
