Interesting project would be nice to know if it worked out, I did think about 200 tdi in the lightweight but the advice at the time was that the series box wouldn't take it.

Had it 2 years never had any problems and it goes off road too, had to put AT Grabbers on it no BFG's available at the time. And what do you base the fact that its ****e on. Nice welcome back by the way :D

cos it don't fookin break down when i'm trying to make a living. Don't flame me a like LR's The lightweight is near ready for mot, fitted another engine as the other was smoking from every outlet int engine. Got washers and dip beam to sort out waiting for electrician jobs worth son to sort...

Just to say Hi not been on here for some time. From Lancaster, now drive a Nissan Navara cos the Disco kept breaking, have a LR lightweight to keep me busy. :) Off to have a look around the forum.

I want to change my Disco 2 this year, took a Disco 3 out on test it's just full of electronics, even the hand brakes on a switch, don't think its for me. Like most now models, teething problems start to show up.

Common fault with the disco is the rubber seal ok ?
