Its worth checking out the link in my first post, then testing the connections which go into the hazard switch. This will allow you to check whether its the switch which is at fault. If not you can then trace the connections to the stalk and also check the flasher unit/relay. Ollie

Cheers chaps, I was a bit reluctant to try and take off the window channel bacause the screws are pretty corroded and ive not really got time to fit new channel at the moment; although after chopping the door bottom off to weld the new section in it came out a treat! Ollie

At the moment the bolt is siezed to the inside of the bush so even if I cut the ends off it'll still be attached to the axle, I'll wd40 it like crazy today and see how it goes tho. ;) Re quality thanks for the heads up, I'm fitting the bushes anyway as frankly it cant make the ride any worse...
