ahhh iv had this prob on mine the pipe rubs on the heater box. If you want take the 2 rubber pipes off then just connect them together so you make a loop instead of going through your heater n it be ok... When you come to change the heater rad dont take it all out. Just slaken the 2 top bolts...

Good places to get metal n bits n bobs is go to yr local industrial estate, have a chat to the lads in engineering workshops an places like that thay should be ok. They only scrap it, another place is the local scrap metal merch. If you do need new stuff a body panel place will sell you sheets...

Fixed the loose alt belt and leaking pipe from heater matrix. Topped up with coolent,reconnected heater controls,cleaned out filter...

Look most landy's leak from somewhere, its also true yr engine,gearbox,tranny box,difs,streering balls and power steering pump leak it will fail If the leak is just a dribble then just give it a wipe b4 you take it for mot.. I would "cough cough" I did

HI JAMES When head was off all piston tops were coated in carbon n all seemed to be the same as each other. No obvious bad points on the old hg,came off very clean so i presume hg had not been on long. I must admit i have not tested the rad in the way you have discribed but i have noticed...
