Hi all, the top windscreen finisher on my 2000 td5 came out one day on the motorway, and was damaged in the wind. i have bought a new one, but it simply wont stay in place, it fits perfectly, but is loose, and will certainly come out if i drive at any speed. does anyone know how this is...

yes, budgeted for repairs, but need some advice on where to start, it starts and runs as it is, so i can drive it while reairing as i go, and the becm has been replaced with a new one, fully coded etc, and it changed nothing, the upside is that i have two of them now! cheers for the advice though

thanks to all for their help, after locating the ecu, i removed the aeriel wire, and plugged it back in, the central locking has worked every time since! shouldnt be surprised really, its a disco :o
