Another one for the fuel pressure sensor loom, any one who gets low power and engine management light should try changing the loom first, £30 for new parts, half an hour to fit, cheap fix if it works.

Try the replacement loom for the fuel pressure sensor, cheap fix if it solves problem.

Pressure sensor loom replaced about 18 months ago. I believe it only has one pump, near side wheel arch, high pressure. My man has it now for MoT, going to try computer connected on first start of the day and see if it gets any readings, he also suggested it may be a injector problem. I will let...

OK more info, latched maf fault so replaced it with ebay item (cheap so not too bad if it does not fix), which it didn't. Did a 10 mile trip into town, no problem, coming back started to die and pick up around 3000 revs in any gear. Got it onto driveway and did a few tests, it still cut out and...

Before you go for any thing more expensive, change the fuel pressure loom, about £35 and takes half hour to fit, tends to cure multiple evils and could be the cause of the latched pressure fault.

Apart from the Amigo's, the limp mode reoccurrence on mine was cured by changing the pressure switch loom.
