I'm thinking the best way to attack this (for the backlighting anyway) is to remove the original connectors, glue LEDs in their place and then wire them all into that pair of wires on the back which goes to one of the original backlights.

Is it in the panel underneath the glove box or the panel to the left beside the door?

Could someone please tell me where this is located? I bought this disco with no working wiper, i've now tried fitting a new one and it just stays on constantly. I suspect the relay to be at fault as the switch on the dash does not stop it but I have no idea were it is and Haynes is no help!

One more thing that doesn't really justify a new thread... Are the window switches in the rear doors supposed to be illuminated? Cant work out if they just have blown bulbs or whether they were never meant to be illuminated in the first place
