    P38-Disabling the Imobilizer

Getting a bit tired of having to push the car to the end on the street to start it coz I live too close to the local ****in Orange mobile phone mast. I just know I'm going to end up stuck somewhere one day cz something is jamming the...

I know a good Fab guy who is going to make one for me. I have a PDF of the Original Landrover Fitting Guide, just need to make a pettern up now, looks straightforward enough. PM me with your email address and I'll send you the PDF.

    2002 p38 petrol overheating

I've had this problem too. It was nothing more than an airlock. I drained all the coolant and fiited a new Thermostat at the same time (might as well as it's cheap enough). I then refilled the system as much as possible before starting the engine then start up and continue to top up. Let the...

Can't believe someone can write a sentance that long with absolutely NO punctuation, just a truck load of spelling mistakes. I had to read it twice and then thought..... F**k it. If you want help, at least put some effort into giving us the info correctly!

Anybody bought the Land Rover Phone yet?

Bought one of these, sent it back after a week of trying to get the email working. A bag of **** in my opinion. Menu's are horrible, satnav is so slow it's unusable and locks up the phone for a couple of mins. If you want to set up your email account on this phone - forget it. The only good...

    Overheating

I've got the same problem with mine. Figured out that filling it to the top whilst running the engine and then leaving the expansion bottle top SLIGHTLY loose allows the pressure to build up enough to clear the airlock. Monitor over a couple of days gradually adding water until the bottle is...

    4.0 0r 4.6

I've got 2 x 4.6 HSE's and no problems. If you go for the later 4.0 THOR engine, I believe these didn't suffer from the slipping liners problems as did the earlier GEMS units. I think the change from GEMS to THOR was in 2000 so if you go for a later one you should rule out this problem. If you...
