my td5 has done 101,000 miles. I have been advised to re skim the head and have a new gasket fitted to pre empt any future issues. It's absolutely fine now but do folk think this is a good idea?

Hi my 2003 disco has a problem with locking. All locks lock ok remotely but front ones do not unlock I have to use key. Any ideas is this a case of new actuators etc? Would like to get it sorted Thanks

lol not another common fault.....these Discoverys seem to have a lot of them.

All of a sudden my front passenger door won't unlock remotely. It locks though. The only way to open it is to use the door lever. Any suggestions as to how to cure this? Many thanks

Hi today my fuel flap all of a sudden wont close very tightly and it doesnt fit flush with the car. The pin retracts ok and i still have the little plastic catch on the flap. Any suugestions? thanks tony

Hi my Disco 2 seems to leak as the inside front corner of the rooflining gets wet just on drivers side. I have had a look but cant seem to see the cause. No wet lining near sunroof at all!! Any idea? Thanks

Hi just purchased a 2003 TD5 Disco. The drivers side headlamp unit has both the top screws missing that hold it in place and i cant seem to see any internal nuts to hold new ones. Can these nuts be replaced if I take the headlamp unit off? any help appreciated Thanks Tony

Hi I have purchased a new pump for my Disco 1 but am not sure how to remove the wash tank to get to the old pump. Undone the two mounting bolts but the tank wont budge. Can any one help Many thanks

Hi noticed my disco 300tdi gives out a load of white/grey smoke whe i first start it lately especially with all this rain. once it gets going the smoke ceases. Has this anything to do with the damp or maybe glow plugs?? Just had cam belt changed too. Any ideas woud be most welcome.
