    Fricking Battery

    Battery lost power today - Dash showed all was well but clearly not the case. I went offroading and did some wading (as I did will previous 90) and charging warning came on but as it dried out, it went off so assumed all was well. I dont understand how battery loses charge when alternator...

    Exhaust Bracket Question

    Exhaust fell away from manifold last weekend when off roading. On examination, the bracket that connects to the engine (near the sump) was MIA. I have reconnected at manifold but cannot get anywhere near the connection point at bottom of engine (where exhaust starts its journey to back of car)...

    Hand Break Sticking

    Hand Break keeps sticking, suspect it is as a result of wading. It sticks such that even after driving for 30 mins plus, it still holds on slight incline etc. I have tried to release by playing with adjuster but to no avail - so question - is this inevitable regardless of gear or does it suggest...

    The Diff signed out !!

    My mates diff on 90 went pop yesterday when off roading. He is replacing it today and wonders if 10 or 24 tooth spline is best diff to replace his current 10 spline. No experience here myself so hope this makes sense and appreciate any views..ta

    Almost Stalling

    Folks - any ideas Defender 90 - 200tdi. Had one off incident when coming to a halt in a garage, the car shuddered as if it were going to stall. I tried it again and the same happened. Clutch was fully dipped and has never been prob before. This happened another once when leaving garage...

    Brake Pulsing

    Anyone had a pulse through the brake pedal when braking. Can only notice it when braking a speeds above 40 ish. Brakes work well but just want to know what the pulsing is. BTW, by pulsing - brake pedal moves slightly up and down when depressed. ta muchly in advance chaps / esses. Truck is 91...

    Offroading without going bankrupt

    Go offroading 2 or 3 times a month. It does take its toll on the truck and recently sold my 90 which was feeling the effects (transfer box and hand brake had popped recently). Looking to continue getting muddy with new 90 but interested in what you do to limit the damage, not worried about body...
