I noticed this on my SU hif6 carbs on the rangy, I spotted it because after a short run up the drive and back I saw it drip what looked like white fluid and after a smell test I expect its water and petrol mixed.

To lock ARP main studs in to the block before you assemble the bottom end? ARP says the bottom end must be assembled and torqued up before whatever studlock - studs in to the block has cured. Thats is going to take an hour or more by the time you have fecked about with the rearmost cap/seals...
