Hi all. We are starting a B and B / self catering business at our home in Italy, starting in the spring of 2015, specifically for off roaders and are about to buy a couple of landys for those who don't want to drive their own vehicles all the way to Italy. There are very few trespass laws...

one of my swivel joints is loose and the are no shims left to take out . Is there any way I can tighten it up to keep me going until the new parts arrive? cheers.

them whats sitting in the back only got little legs so wont realy matter .its only for short trips when the family come to stay.:mad:

is it worse when you go over a bump ? It could be your ball joint shims need adjusting its easy if youve done it before ,if not it shouldnt cost more than 80 quid at a decent landy dealers to put right.

not as far a I know mine is set up as standard. does yours still have the catalytic converter if so get rid they can also choke the engine.Diesels need to be able to get rid of exhaust gasses quickly to alow them to rev freely and dont like cats. Is the vacuum pipe from the egr valve...

Minw used to do that as well until I got rid of the egr valve now it goes much better!

Have you checked the injection pump timing ?

How easy is it to fit the forward facing seats into a disco 1 ? Does anyone know of any going for a reasonable price? cheers, Dave.

The brake lights have stopped working on my series 1 disco .Its not the fuses or the bulbs. Is ther a relay or ecu I should be looking at before I start tracing wires? cheers dave

my 1997 disco wont turn off I can take the key out of the ignition and it keeps on running. It doesnt do it all the time . Would be greatful for any advice. cheers ,dave
