Centre bearing has movement, I see the bearing can be purchased separately, but the price for complete assembly and price for bearing on its own, I am leaning towards complete assembly Has anyone successfully changed bearing with no further grief ?

does anyone local to me have knowledge of or info on"newbridge auto repair" in basildon, freelander got swiped along drivers side and the person that hit it ,their insurance co. has instructed newbridge to do the work, hence my quest for info please.

i am soon to be looking for an auto box to replace the manual box mounted to a 300tdi engine in an agricultural machine, it is circa 1998. can someone tell me the series code for that box please, i presume there is only mechanical links to the engine. many thanks if you can help.:)
