Hi all,i've got an oil leak at the front of my P38 DSE,done a search on here and i'm pretty sure it's the oil cooler(leak is predominanly on drivers side but can be in a line along the rad and can see oil on the corner of cooler),now as far as i can see to get access the cooler i have to remove...

Hi there,i'm posting this for my neighbour who has a problem with his auto gearbox,car works fine upto 30 mph but then won't go up into the next gear(downhill it will though,and reverse fine);any ideas? it's a v8 Defender 90,1989 model thanks

Get this,got in the Rangie this morning,started her up,noticed something in the rear view mirror,got out with engine running,while getting out brushed the door lock thingy with my arm,shut door,FxxxxD Couldnt get into car,Rangie ticking over lovely,me ripping hair out'cos keys to everything...

Hello,i would be grateful for any info on replacing an alternator on a p38 dse,does any one have experiance with this?,is it easy/hard?,are there special tools needed.I've changed alternators on other vehicles before so i'm not a complete stranger to a tool box. Thanks for any info recieved,Ipsos
