Freelander 2 (LR2) Stuck wheel nut

Had my 2009 Freelander 2 for a couple of weeks now and decided to check the wheel nuts as it’s better to deal with a stiff one at home rather than at the side of the road. All were really tight but one on the back will not move even using a 3 foot breaker bar and quality 6 sided socket. I did...

    Freelander 1 TD4 non runner

No Hi, regrettably having to sell my 2005 Freelander TD4 as a non runner needing a new gearbox, clutch and master cylinder. Don’t have time or space to fix. Mileage is 197419. Would rather see it go to someone who can repair it, than scrap it. Will not drive so will need to go on a trailer. The...

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Tyres

Having owned a Freelander 1 I know the importance of keeping the tyres matched, I would also replace as a set of 4. I now have a Freelander 2 so are these as prone to damage due to miss-matched tyres?

freelander td4 master clutch cylinder problems

Hi I am having similar odd problems with my TD4 clutch. Had the car form nearly new and clutch biting point has always been at the bottom end of the pedal travel. About 9 months ago I had the well-known problem of the pedal not returning when pressed also gear changes were difficult. So I...

    Clutch sticking and spongey

I had a similar problem in my 2005 TD4. Cluch pedal would not return to top, and you had to push your foot hard down into the carpet to change gear, this got worse over a couple of days until it was near imposible to change gear. Got a new (pre filled) master cylinder from Eurocarparts for £90...

Seat squab minging. Repair or replace

You are looking at over £800 you can get them a bit cheaper depending on the options you choose (like seat quilted stitching) they can do any color leather/ stitch you want. Had the car from nearly new and have no plans to change it so invested in these to keep it looking good.

Seat squab minging. Repair or replace

My seats were looking worn and after looking at replacing with second hand leather without success, as there is a lot of old torn seats in the breakers. I decided to have the existing recovered. Took them 3 weeks to make them up after ordering, then one day to fit (Seat Surgeons in York)

This has been the spare on my Freelander since new and has only done about 100 miles the rest of the time its been on the rear door under a cover. As this tyre is no longer made I decided to replace all five. So the spare is offered for sale and would be ideal to match up if you also have one...

Freelander 3 door parcel shelf/ boot load cover

Hi, What about finding someone with a 5 door to see if the boot side panels will fit in a 3 door. Then if they look like they would fit you could get a set from a breaker and then get the roller blind type load cover as fitted to 5 door. Guess LR did not fit the roller blind type on the 3 door...

    front seats

I would agree that seat covers or a set of seats from a breaker would be the simple option. Bye the way can anyone recommend a good supplier of seat covers that will look ok on a 3 door, concerned that some of the universal ones on e-bay may be a poor fit and look crap
