Oh boy.. humble pie time.. this was the correct sounder.. and they are the same plug.. and I failed trying to go a 'cheap' way (accidently buying a 12v instead if a 9v ).. any way sorted now.. the sounder was faulty.... many thanks for the advise ... stuart
