Had a look at this bumper when i was up at his place last week. If i had the spare cash i would have snapped it up. Good overall condition and with a quick lick of paint would look all spangley.
Hi all,
with regards to the 'spam' comment, i met Dan last weekend and bought some discovery seats off him. Great items, good price and a very nice and helpful chap. I'm just glad someone is selling good parts at a good price. I will certainly be buying parts from him in future.
camel cut is basically triming the back of the rear wheel arch so larger tyres will fit when suspension is articulating. it was carried out on the disco's used in the camel trophy (god rest its soul), hence the name.
i went laning in north wales on saturday in my V8 3.5 efi disco.... averaged about 15 mpg for the whole trip. Just everyday use i am getting about 18. On a run, about 23.
Its about twice as much as i was getting from a V6 shogun that i had for all of a month or so.. that really was ****e..
planned to fit my new downpipes on the V8, but forgot to get new clamps
changed the air filter though...dont think the last owner had done it for a long while...
take it thats why there is a proposed tro on the steps now.. i got stuck further on late last year in a hole on a right hand corner..
Always ready for a spot of laning. Wifi and the kids enjoy it too...let me know if your up for it sometime..:)
i live a couple of miles from it and have been quite a few times. Is real small, for how much they charge. Half a day there and your getting a bit bored. Also i agree with others, old sand stone quarry, not nice on bearings etc..
